I won’t join PDP, says sacked Adamawa APC caretaker chair Sulaiman Adamu, accepts fate

Caretaker chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State, Sulaiman Adamu, who was expelled by the party on Wednesday following the decision of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, said he accepted the party’s decision in good faith.

Adamu, who had yet to be communicated, officially, of his expulsion, told The PUNCHthat he was unaware of his expulsion from the APC.

He, however, said that notwithstanding, he would still encourage his followers not to leave the APC.

He said, “I have accepted my fate. I see it as Allah’s will. All I have ever wanted is for the APC to remain in power and this can only be guaranteed by our victory at the polls.

But now that I have been expelled, I will still urge my followers not to leave the APC.

“We built this party with our sweat; it is inconceivable to now encourage them (my followers) to leave.

“Since this solely affected me; when I meet with them, I will tell them not to leave but to stay.

“I accept my fate. May God bring peace to our country.”
